DJ Genius is a proud East Side Detroit native with over 23 years of experience in the art of DJing. Inspired early on by his father and later mentored by Detroit’s renowned DJ Jinx, Genius has developed a signature sound and an undeniable presence behind the boards.

His talent and dedication have earned him guest appearances on several radio stations throughout the Metro Detroit area, along with production credits on multiple records available across major streaming platforms. Driven by a deep respect for music and the culture, DJ Genius brings energy, precision and crowd moving mixes every time he steps on air.

Now, as one of the first official on-air mixers for 107.1 The Beat, DJ Genius is helping set the tone and elevate the station’s sound taking every broadcast to the next level.
